Made 3 deployments as an A-7 pilot, 2 on the USS Ranger deployed to the Western Pacific/ Indian Ocean, 1 on the USS Enterprise deployed to the Indian Ocean/ Med.
Also was an flight instructor in the T-2, A-4 and A-7 and had 2 tours as a weapons developement test pilot and weapons program manager.
Majority of my flight time was in the A-7 and F/A-18
Retired in 1992
Hired by United Airlines in 1993, initially based at LAX. Currently based at Chicago O'Hare as a Captain on the Airbus A-320
We lived in Texas, Florida and (for 23yrs) in California
Moved from Lemoore Calif. to beautiful Berea in 1999
