Hi, your request really touched me. I remember your father being a big tease. Fun and full of life. Anyway I talked to my little brother Jim Guthrie tonight. I knew that they hung out together in the mid to late 70s and early 80, 81. Jimmy told me that your mother, Lois used to room with Jami Wickline. I hope I have the names and spellings right. I will get a hold of my sister in law, to see what she may have as far as pictures. I live in Calif., my brother lives in Arizona. Jami lives in Ohio, as does my niece Amanda, Jami and my brothers' daughter, she was born in 81. My brother said he would look for pictures, a picture is worth a thousand words. He did tell me a funny story on the phone. They rode bikes together. I will get my brother to email it to me. Sincerely, Joni Guthrie Easlick

Dear Jessica,

I lived in the same neighborhood as your dad - on Berea's north end, near Riveredge school, until I was 11. A bunch of us kids played together. There were quite a few vacant lots, some with ponds, so catching tadpoles and grasshoppers, as well as building treehouses kept us busy. I can't really remember specific things, just that your dad was part of that bunch. It was a great neighborhood, and even though we moved to a bigger house after my youngest sister was born, I missed it very much.

God Bless you.

Dear Jessica,

Your dad and I were good friends back then;  we went to High School together; hung out at the Iron Horse after we graduated.  Alot of us hung out there and had some good times.  Your dad was always such a good time; always had a big smile on his face.  I was working at Lakewood Hospital and visited him there after one of his accidents..might have been the one where he lost his leg; but that didn't even slow him down; he was back on his motorcycle in no time!  I couldn't believe it when he had his fatal accident.  Only the good die young!  Tell your Aunt Avril I said hello!  Gail Kocsis
