I'm so sorry to hear of Karen's passing. We shared a love of horses at an early age. I will never forget some of the adventures we shared riding around Berea.  Our lives went in separate directions and I had not seen her in many years. Gone too soon.

Karen and I were good friends who met in grade school - we went to Lechner together.  We attended each other's birthday parties and one year she gave me a silver charm bracelet with a horse on it.  Over the years I have collected over 50 charms to add to it and I still wear it on occasion!  People ask about it and I always start my response by showing them the little horse that started it all!   I left Ohio a long time ago yet I know Karen will be missed by all who knew her, she was a wonderful and kind person that I will not forget.

How quickly our years pass. I was a Senior when Karen was a Sophomore. Memories of yesterday seen so close, yet where has time gone? Book of James says our life is but a Vapor, here and gone. Our lives in Berea in the late 60's were precious, fun, innocent moments yet ful of life, a far cry from our troubled dark world today. Jesus is Lord!

I was sad to hear of Karen's passing. I have memories of her going clear back to when we were attending Lechner Elementary School. Even at that young age I always think of Karen and her love for horses. She was always a very nice and kind person. The world needs more people like Karen and she will be missed. Phil Kechele
