I remember the times after high school when Steve would bring his guitar over to Dmitri Silea's house. We would attempt to jam, Steve played pretty well but the rest of us weren't very good. Steve taught us how to play a couple of Ratt and Motley Crue songs. He was pretty patient, you'd have to be with a bunch of hacks like us. Those were good times. I don't think I ever saw Steve in a bad mood. That's the way I remember him.

I always thought of Steve as a great guy. He was always smiling and having fun. I remember the Parknoll Days too, as Steve was known to boot a few homers in kickball. Its sad he is no longer with us. He will be missed.

Rest in Peace, Steve.

I was in awe of finding out Steve had passed. I hold nothing but fond memories of him from Parknoll thru High School. Its another reminder to me on how short life can be. My heart goes out to the Rudoff family, he won't be forgotten by mine. At least once a year, for the past 20, I've driven through our old neighborhood to try and recapture some lost memories of our youth. I'll never forget those times, I'll just keep smiling every time I pass his old house. :) Charlie (:

Steve made me laugh almost on a daily basis. I took drivers ed with him and Frank Ragone, and learned absolutely NOTHING, as I was busy laughing all the time. It broke my heart when I heard years ago that he was gone. He will truly be missed, but Im glad I was one of the lucky ones to know him.

Steve was good people. Had a chance to get to know hime when we all hung out in the summer. Me, him, Mike Sholtis and John Weiss. Good times. He used to work at the old Fazios store on Bagley rd with some of us. We affectionately referred to him as the "Rude Dude!" RIP Steve.

Steve and I were such good friends growing up since 1rst grade. When I heard the news of Steve taking his own life I was devistated. All the fun memories I have of Steve will never leave me. He still puts a smile on my face today. RIP Steve.

I just learned about this website and was having a great time checking it out, until I came across this. I am so saddened by this. I knew Steve all the way back from fourth grade. We used to play football, baseball, and kickball in the field behind Jim Humphrey's house. He was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. I remember that he and I would sit in my driveway and look at our football cards together. He would give me all of the Browns' cards and I would give him all of the Eagles' cards. Now, what was a great childhood memory will never be the same. Every time I think about people from my childhood and wonder what they are doing, I would always think of Steve Rudoff. Wherever you are, Steve, and whatever you're doing, I hope that you are at peace.

Steven and I grew up together. Our friendship trailed off through High School but we re-connected after graduation. I'll never forget the day we got the phone call. His sister, Sandi, was in town for my wedding. I took Sandi to the airport so she could be with her family. We sat in the lounge, drank and cried for what seemed like hours. I think of Steve almost daily.

Everyone will be happy to know that his daughter is just as beautiful as he. She is about 15 now and has 2 half brothers. She looks just like Steven and even more like Sandi. I hear she is doing well!

I knew Steve... When we all used to get together to play football Steve was usually there playing his heart out. I was sorry to hear about this....
