Judy, much time has passed since you left us, however you will never be forgotten. Of all the girls in our class you were the most athletic and made the Olympic Swimming Trials to compete in Mexico. We lived at opposite ends of Parkwood Drive, but I was so proud of all your hard efforts to be the best in swimming. I will miss seeing you in this world.
Judy was more than an athlete, we became better acquaintances in the ninth grade and always seem to run into each other for a few minutes here and there. She dated one of the Midpark guys. I think of her when ever I need to tell one of my grand daugthers(at Berea) on how hard work and dedication is needed for success. No one that I knew at that age wore the badge of success as quietly or as well. Great Gal, Greater Person!
Really hard to believe Judy is no longer with us. We did not have a lot in common in high school, her being so athletic and into studies, myself working during HS and a different crowd. But our last names being so close alphabetically we were at times thrown together for different occasions. She was always so nice to talk to, just a genuine warm person whenever we had to speak. A classy lady.
