Ray passed away suddenly in September, 1984, from a massive heart attack. He had just turned 38. He was in Chicago on business for Ohio Bell. When he didn't show up for a 9 AM meeting, they went and checked his room and found him.
Ray was a truly wonderful man, and a great husband. I miss him to this very day.
