Daniel P. Forrester, age 77, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 surrounded by his family. Dan was born on December 21, 1945 to Cecil Ovid Forrester, Jr., and Norma Michell Forrester (both deceased). He attended and played football and other sports for Berea and Midpark High Schools and Bowling Green State University. Dan was an avid fisherman. Dan is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rosemarie Forrester; their four daughters Lisa Hirzel (Tim), Wendy Vargo (Ed), Meggan Forrester, and Amy Forrester (Josh); as well as grandchildren Emily Hirzel-Duff (Kaylee), Molly Hirzel, Madison Vargo, Eric Hirzel, Mia Vargo, Halle Vargo, Summer Vargo, Ava Vargo, and Christian Howard. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Madzy Fund, Berea Midpark Athletic Boosters, which helps offset participation costs for student athletes. Dan's family will welcome visitors September 29, 2023 FRIDAY 3-5 PM, with a closing prayer at 5 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH (West of I-71).
