Jane E. Pell of Lewes, DE passed away peacefully at the Milford Place Senior Living on May 21, 2022. Jane was born on July 23; 1946 in Canton OH to Edward And Alice Psolla.

After graduating from Mid ParkHigh School in Cleveland in 1964, Jane moved to Philadelphia to begin a career in the insurance industry. Most of her career was in the casualty field with INA-CIGNA. Her performance resulted in her being named vice-president and head of major claims. She then became one of the first women at CIGNA casualty to be named manager of a regional office in Medford, NJ and later in the Brandywine office in Wilmington.

After retiring from CIGNA, Jane worked as a paralegal at Tybout, Redfearn and Pell in Wilmington. She and her husband Rick lived in Arden, Old New Castle, and The Villages, FL before returning to Lewes, DE.

Jane worked out daily for over thirty years, was an active golfer, enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles, traveling and watching her grand children, Michael and Julie's sports activities.

Jane is survived by her husband Rick, his daughter Katie Daniello (John) their children Michael and Julie, his son Rich Pell (Lauren) their son Ryder of Pittsburg, PA, Jane's sister Cathy Pretsch (Paul) of Saint Charles, MO and their children Steven, David, and Kristin and her cousin Margi Wright.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Milford Place Senior Living and Accent Care Hospice for their wonderful care of Jane. Funeral arrangements will be private.
