Dear Mary and family,

I  am truly sorry to hear of Ray's passing.  He was a good friend to many of us in the Berea High School class of 1964.  He was a kind and considerate person who made a positive and lasting impression to all who had the blessing of knowing him.  Be assured that he, you, and your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mary,

I was so sorry to hear about Raymond's passing. He was so looking forward to the reunion. I watched for the two of you at all the reunion parties. Told Rita and Kim that he had not shown up and thought about him again when we passed where he grew up. You are in my prayers. Please also give Lillian my condolences.

I attended calling hours on Monday and the funeral Tuesday. I was glad I was there to represent our class. I got to talk to Rays wife and actually got to sit with her at the dinner after the funeral. She said how much he would have like to hear about our adventures together. We worked together at Lighthouse Pools and really had a blast. Mary said he was too sick to come to the reunion after undergoing chemotherapy for lung cancer that was diagnosed in April. He left a great legacy for his family. He will be missed. Ray save a seat for me in the old 57 Chevy.
