It is with great joy that I remember the fun I had with Bonnie Nestor. In 10th grade is when we were the closest, but we remained friends for years after that. There were 3 girls from Berea High that made me laugh until my sides hurt, made tears role down my face, and made me laugh so hard that I couldn't catch my breath, and Bonnie was one of them. Penny Harris, also gone from this earth, was another. And the last was Sandy Halloran, who I just saw in April in Georgia. And I loved Bonnie's 1965 British Racing green Vet with camel colored seats, so cool!!!!  She could drive a stick way back then, so mechanical!!!  I'm sure she is zipping around in heaven in a Fararri!!!  Love always, Daryl Hatch Podobinski

I was sad to see the entry about Bonnie.  I am not sure when she passed but it made me sad.  I was so happy to see her at the reunion and touch base, however briefly.  Bonnie was one of those gals that made me laugh and we had such fun in tenth grade and then I did not see her again until the reunion.  When I was a sophomore in college and my father passed away I got a card from Bonnie.  I had not seen her in years and it meant so much to me, she must have read it in the paper..  I felt happy that at the reunion I got to tell her how much that simple card meant to me at the time.  Sometimes we get to thank someone for a simple gesture that meant the world.
