I am loving the pictures from 50+1 Yes, it's fun trying to guess who is who and then enlarge pics to try and read name tags. . Wish we could have come, from CT, to join in the fun, As my oldest grandsons starts high school this year, I have been reflecting on my days at Morton West. Yes, I have all four of my "Talons". To begin with the size of our school and class is so different than the little shoreline town schools where we live. His freshman class of 120 will go to a near by camp for a day to do Project Adventure activities to build unity and trust. Meanwhile I remember decorating the inside of my locker, making posters for lockers for birthdays, making sure you went up and down the right staircase, taking the city bus and transferring at the corner with White Castle Hamburgers!!!, "0" hour, getting to eat up on the stage/raised part of the main cafeteria, sock hops, drivers ed in summer school (we had to pay for our daughters to do drivers ed at a commercial school in the evening) football and basketball games (We have a lot of multiple town teams in shoreline CT, especially for football, ice hockey, swimming, and gymnastics, SO different ) I have many memories, but more important, I keep making new memories with my wonderful family, That said, I can't forget " I stand behind the green and white" "Come on you Falcons fight fight fight for dear old JSM". My best to you all and my regrets for not being able to be there. Barb Kaminski Westwater
