Mrs. Allen was definitely one of my favorite teachers at Westbrook. If you look closely at the class picture. She's holding my hand.

I remember arriving at my first day of 1st Grade with my mom to Mrs. Allen's class, and I think I remember even giving her an apple. She and Mrs. Lesch were terrific at easing our transition from home to school.
