Kristin VandeVort

Wow! Has it really been 25 years? I spent most of them in the DC Metro Area after attending college at Indiana University and then studying Graphic Design at American University. Many years of college led to a career as a Graphic Designer in association with various non-profits and agencies in DC. In the Summer of 2006, I moved to the Silicon Valley in California. I now handle large marketing projects for various industries including high-tech and real estate. While work is a big part of the culture in the Valley, I spend a lot of time with my niece and nephew.

I must admit all those years of band class with Ms. Ebner, Shakespeare plays with Mrs. Weincek, square dancing in PE, and singing with Ms. Gazda equipped me with the creative spirit that has kept me interested in all aspects of the arts for most of my life. Now-a-days there's no more flute, not much time for English literature, little access to square dances, and, well, let's face it - singing wasn't my strong point. My ultimate memory - A Song for Gar, where Colin Beckemeyer had to sing to me (Camden Pride)... Can you believe I remember that???... How mortifying!
