Please honor our 35th Reunion with a gift to the Lehigh Fund

Part of reunion planning is giving serious thought to supporting the Lehigh Fund.  Below is the text of the letter we all received, asking us to consider honoring our 35th Reunion year with a gift to the Lehigh Fund.... Kathy (Kane) Schlegel

Our Class of 1975 scholarship recipient is Marc Pezzicara ’11. Marc, who hails from Holland, Pennsylvania, is a math major with minors in Spanish and actuarial science.

Once a week, Marc tutors a group of Calculus III students for Lehigh’s Center for Academic Success. “I love helping other people do well in school, and calculus is something I am naturally good at, so it’s easy for me to help those in need,” says Marc.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing first base on Lehigh’s club baseball team, and trumpet for the Marching 97. “I have been playing trumpet since fourth grade, and I love to go to every football game and cheer on our team,” says Marc.

Throughout high school, he always dreamed of studying abroad. He is currently making plans to travel to Seville, Spain, in 2011 to do some work towards his Spanish minor.

Marc would like to thank the Class of 1975 for our generous contributions to his college education. “None of this would be possible without you,” says Marc.

While our endowed class scholarship made a difference to Marc, annual Lehigh Fund gifts provide extraordinary opportunities for learning and discovery by offering financial aid to students all across the university. In fact, unless otherwise designated, 100% of all gifts to the Lehigh Fund are directly applied to student scholarships and financial assistance programs.

Please support the Class of 1975 Reunion Gift Campaign today. We look forward to seeing everyone in May!

Sincerely,

Kathy (Kane) Schlegel ’75             Karen Stuckey ’75
