After completing my BA at Yeshiva University in New York City, and spending my junior year in Israel, I married Debbie and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana. After working for a year, I earned an MSW in Community Organization and Planning from Tulane University.

Beginning in June, 1976, I worked for 15 years in the field of Jewish community service--5 years at the Columbus Jewish Federation; 3 years in Harrisburg, Pa; and from 1984-90 as the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Rochester, New York.

I left the field, moved to Skokie, Illinois in 1990 and owned and operated Rosenblums World of Judaica for almost 28 years. Several years ago, I embarked on a new part-time career as a Private Patient Health Care Advocate, after completing a graduate degree at UCLA. We help people navigate the health care system.

Of greatest significance in my life is that I am blessed with Debbie, my wife of nearly 46
years, my mother, who is 93, my sister, Sherry, who lives in Jerusalem, my brother Danny and my 9 beautiful grandchildren.

Three of my children and their families live in the New York area, and one lives in Chicago.

Danny and I were known as the Fox twins. While we had our own identities, we were usually identified as one. We are very different in many ways .

When we were seniors, and the class rankings were issued, I was ranked in the top 20%, which meant I was honored to sit on the stage at the honors assembly. My brother, Danny, fell one notch below and
sat with the rest of the class.

As the older Fox by just 5 minutes, I was just a little bit smarter!
