Althea Thomas

Since leaving Huffman after our Sophomore year I graduated from Pelham High School. I then went to LSU where I ran track. GEAUX TIGERS! I came home and taught and coached at Huffman for two years. It's weird when Mr. Seay, Mrs. Ashley, Mr. Humes and Coach Coleman all talk to you like you are an adult....well Mr. Seay was always talking to us like we were grown huh. Well I moved to Boston for a brief stint but I'm back now. I left those crazy teenagers at Huffman alone and did sales for a little while. I began my "career" coaching Track and Field at the Division I level at UAB in 2008. Now I am an Assistant Track and Field Coach at the University of Kentucky. Working to achieve your divine potential is AMAZING!!!
