COLUMBUS BOSWELL, JR., This Wenonah High School graduate continued studies at Miles College, Ohio State, University of Alabama and Montevallo University prior to a rewarding educational career as a Mathematics Instructor with Jefferson County Schools. He was a Bessemer resident and brother of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Deacon Boswell was always faithful and loyal to Emanuel Temple Church of God in Christ, serving as trumpeter. He was State Officer and College Dean of Church of God in Christ. On December 21, 2010, our loss was Heaven's gain. Cherishing his loving memory is wife, Fannie Agee Boswell; daughters, Dr. Veronica (Minister Antonio) Owens and Domenica (Derek) Pringle; siblings, Geraldine Burks, Catherine Cork, Haroldean Dunn, Samuel, Alexander and Latonska Boswell; grandchildren, Shala, Sarah, Sunday, Sethany, Suri and Sofi Owens.
