DEBROW, MR. HARRY E., JR. Funeral is Noon Saturday at First Baptist, 6012 Malcolm Avenue, Roosevelt. Pastor B.L. Palmore, Sr., Officiant. Inhumation follows at Highland. Brewton, Alabama, was the birthplace of this alumni of Wenonah High, Miles College and University of West Virginia. His career of service spanned more than 30 years as an Educator in Bessemer City Schools teaching science at Carver and Jess Lanier High Schools. He also taught Upward Bound at Lawson State Community College and was a Korean Conflict Army Veteran. He was affiliated with First Baptist, Roosevelt and founding member of Delta Tau Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc. at Miles College. His earthly journey was completed on Friday, January 23, 2009. Mourners include wife, Zevley Smith Debrow; children, Brian (Connie) Debrow and Sherree Moore; siblings, Arvia Abbott, Raymond (Rose) and Donald (Doris) Debrow; grandchildren, Ryan, Shamara and Stephanie. Kappa Alpha Psi Memorial Service is 6:30 Friday. Family Visitation is 5:30 until 7:00 Friday. Calling Hours at Johnson Memorial, Bessemer, Friday Noon until 9:00.
