Mother was a Uniontown, Alabama native, Roosevelt City resident and "Golden Dragon" graduate of Wenonah High School, Class of 1958. Matriculation at Alabama State University and Miles College prepared her teaching Kindergarten with Bessemer City Schools. She devoted her talents in serving with the scholarship and finance committees and discipleship class at First Baptist, Roosevelt. Widow of Mr. Edward Dancy, Jr., precious memories of her love and legacy remain with her daughter, Carlyne (Horatio) Boykin; sister, Carlyne Joseph; grandchildren, Khayla and Janiya.
