MRS. ANNIE D. MARZETTE,  She was a 1961 graduate of Wenonah High and alumni of Bronx Community College. Mercy College, Bronx, New York is where she earned a Masters of Nursing and was employed with various hospitals in the area. Upon returning to Birmingham, she worked at University Hospital and retired from Jefferson County Department of Health. She was a member of Integrity Bible Church and enjoyed shopping. Preceding her in death: parents, John and Jennie Hardy Shelley; husband of 37 years, Harry Marzette, Sr.; son, Harry, Jr.; siblings, Altonette and John Shelley, Jr., Geraldine Ervin and Lillie B. Hudson. Eternal rest was granted on Thursday, June 17, 2010. Survivors include daughter, Veronica (Scotty) Johnson; siblings, Catherine (Charles) McGhee and Dock (Tommastine) Shelley; granddaughters, Antoinette and Mia Johnson.
