Willie James Gladney, was a product of Wenonah Elementary as well as Wenonah High School class of 1967. I was deeply saddened to read of his death in the Birmingham News obituary section. I did attend his funeral which was held at the Bushelon Funeral Chapel. I pause to pay my respects to this fallen comrade of the class of 1967.
