The safest place that our loved ones can rest is in God's loving memory. From those verses, it's obvious that God's love and mercy is so expansive. That can assure us that our loved ones are safely waiting to hear that call from Our Great God. Yes, we sorrow at James' loss. We love him, and we will be happy to see him again.
The righteous man, Job, had some comforting words for us too. "If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service Until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands".—Job 14:14, 15.
