Apr. 14, 1950 - Nov. 14, 2016 "Hal" brought laughter and fun to any environment. He was a Wenonah Dragon, Class of 1968 and well decorated U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. During his time of service to our country, he received a Purple Heart. Parents, Frank and Mattie Boggan and siblings, Dana, Frank, Jr., Leodis and Eric preceded him in death. Survivors: children, Narkieta Lewis, Quintella Watkins, Nicole, Jeremey and Marco Boggan; siblings, Frances (Jerry Thompson) Rice, Shelia (Reginald) Coleman, Larry (Patricia) Boggan and six grandchildren. Funeral is 11:00 Monday at Ebenezer Baptist, 3510 Todd Avenue, SW Birmingham. Pastor D. D. Hudson, Officiant. Military Rites and Inhumation follows at Alabama National Cemetery.
