Charlotte Rogers (Turner)

Charlotte D. "Chuck" Rogers Turner, was born on June 12, 1951 in Birmingham, Ala. She was the daughter of Willie and Rosie Rogers who preceded her in death. Charlotte was educated in the Birmingham School System, graduating from Wenonah High School in May 1969. That same momentous year she married Ralph Turner on September 20th. She dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized May 14, 1966. She faithfully carried out that vow for almost 50 years. She will be remembered by many for her lively witt and hearty laughter. She truly loved people. Missing her will be Ralph Turner, her husband; son, Brandon Alexander Turner; sisters, Brenda Holmes (Tim) and Natalie Tankersley; brother, Willie Rogers Jr. (Sharon); four nieces, Wanica Warren (Steve), Avril Terrell (De'Erick), Stefanie Tankersley and Aleshia Williams; three nephews, Steven Holmes (Patricia), Phillip Williams and Andre Tankersley; a number of great nephews and nieces and a host of family and friends. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
