ACQUILLA LEE "Scoopie" WALKER, was reared in the Cairo Community and graduated Wenonah High School in 1970. This operator of Scoopie's Auto Clinic was an avid fisherman, drag racing enthusiast and Honorably Discharged U.S. Army Veteran. The close of life came on Thursday, May 5, 2011. Cherished memories linger in the hearts of sons, Jereme (Tiffany) and Jermaine Walker; parents, Samuel, Sr. and Hattie Terrell Walker; siblings, Samuel, Jr. (Wanda), Lela Colvin, Barbara (Tony) Burns, Brenda (Reuben) Hudson, James (Jo), Yvonne and Gregory (Lois) Walker; companion, Pauline Williams; grandchildren, Juwauan, Z'nya, Jaquave, Jermaine, Jr. and Jereme. Farewell Ceremony is 1:00 Saturday at The Chapel of Johnson Memorial, 2601 Ninth Avenue, Bessemer. Elder Wayne King, Officiant. Military Rites and Inhumation follows at Highland.
