HARRY LEE WILSON, SR, age 59, of Birmingham, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011. He enlisted in the U.S. Army where he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Distinction as a Marksman and a Sharp Shooter until he was Honorably Discharged in 1976. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sherry H. Wilson; daughters, Tracey Wilson Miller; sons, Roderick D. Wilson (J'Anne), Darren C. Allen (Zephaniah), Harry Lee Wilson, Jr., Davis D. McMullin and Jerome E. McMullin, Jr. (Devona); sisters, Clarice Davis, Joann Thomas and Deloris Cheatom; brothers, Levandil, George, and Rod Wilson; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Friday, 1 - 7. The family will receive visitors from 5 - 7. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 13th at 1:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
