We were proud to witness the Induction of our classmate Ervin Batain (Posthumoulsy) for his dedicated work as a Grass Roots Historian for the Red Mountain Park. Ervin was instrumental in creating this site, that we now enjoy touring. He was recently honored for this service by the Red Mountain Park Commission. Therefore, the Grand Alumni considered we would likewise bestow this honor upon him. We regret that Ervin was not here to receive this honor, however, his lovely wife Diane Bennett Batain, his family and many of our classmates were able to see him receive credit for the fruit of his labor.
