Mike was a Graduate of Miles College and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha He worked with the Birmingham County Club for a number of years He was later employed with the U.S.Postal System until he became disable from a motor cycle accident. Mike was very active in his community a Little League Baseball coach with the Police Athletic Team ,a volunteer with the Jefferson County Parole Board a member of the Jefferson County Citzen's Coalition.and lastly a very active member of Greater Shiloh Baptist Church. Mike is greatly missed by his community where he was very helpful to the older people
