EASON, LEON DEWAINE, age 52, of Birmingham, made his transition on Tuesday, December 16, 2008. He was a lifelong resident of Birmingham, 1974 graduate of Wenonah High School and graduate of Southern Institute College.  A former employee of Trinity Steel, and member of Hopewell Baptist Church (4817 Jefferson Ave. S.W.). Service of memory will be Tuesday at Noon at the church, Pastor Edward E. Rodgers officiating, with interment in Valhalla Cemetery. His loving survivors are: devoted mother, Alice Lee Eason; father, Webster Eason; daughter, Quenesha (Byron) Thomas; brother and sisters, Curtis Eason, Jackie (Randy) White, and Janet (Larry) Kennon; and grandson, Kameron Thomas.
