DENNIS JAMES HARE, age 50, of Birmingham died Monday, October 20, 2008. He was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, Hillman. A graduate of Wenonah High School, he was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Velma Hare; son, Derrick Hare; step-son, Prince Carter; step-daughter, Tomeka Carter; step-mother, Mrs. Martha Hare; sisters, Gloria Hinson (John), Brenda Nelms (Herman) and Beverly Berry (Pierre); brothers, Howard Kelly (Angela) and Anthony Hare (Jennie); uncle, Jimmy Joe Hare; and aunts, Willie Mae Watson and Catherine Davis. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Arrington Funeral Home Chapel with burial Dynasty Gardens. Arrington Funeral Home Inc. directing.
