 CLARK M. THOMAS, age 89, of Birmingham, AL, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Mr. Thomas was a member of Sixth Avenue Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Board. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He was a lifetime member of Alabama A&M Alumni Association and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Mr. Thomas was a lifetime Educator and a Retired Vocational Counselor from Wenonah High School. He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife, DiJon Victoria Thomas and a host of family members. A Family Hour will be Friday, September 21st from 5 - 7 pm at Davenport & Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 12 noon at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church with burial at Elmwood Cemetery. Davenport & Harris Directing. > Obituary
