MRS. TANYA SHORTER CUNNINGHAM, age 38, of Bessemer, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and the Usher's Ministry. She graduated from Wenonah High School and was formerly employed as a stewardess for American Air Lines. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Lee Cunningham; step daughter, Mary Brown; mother, Mozell Shorter; and sisters, Myra (Eddie) Edwards, Sharon Rudolph and Priscilla (Marvin) Humphrey; brother, Roderick (Martai) Alexander; special niece, Teariona Shorter. A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 125 1st St SW. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Arrington Funeral home Inc., directing.  Obituary
