Vicki Marie Johnston, 66, of Cumberland Gap Road, New Castle, departed this life at her home Thursday morning, January 11, 2018. Born in Christiansburg on August 26, 1951 she was a daughter of the late Andrew Thomas Lafon and Anna Kyle Saunders Lafon. She was for many years a practicing CNA and was a graduate of Blacksburg High School, Class of 1969.. Vicki now joins her parents, and her beloved husband Larry Wayne Johnston in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in her heavenly home.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Laurie Johnston and Trudy Johnston; her grandchildren Cody Collins and fiancé Jaqulyn Callahan, Amber Kirk (her beloved caregiver) and Brieanna Huffman.
