ESHS 30th Reunion Planning Meeting notes
Date: June 9, 2012
Attendees: Pam Thomas Browne, Terrie Howard Carter, Beth Cooper, Natasha Nickens Driggers, and Cheryl Coleman Tracy
The meeting was hosted at Terrie Carter’s home.
Discussion:

Committee roles were established. Beth Cooper and Natasha Driggers will co-chair the Committee, Terrie Carter and Cheryl Tracy will jointly manage administrative and treasurer functions. Pam Browne, along with Linda Mundy will head up the Committee to work with Seton to locate classmates and manage the class gift to school.

A survey was made available to alumnae via the ESHS 83 Reunion Group page on Facebook and on the new class website at www.ESHS83.com to solicit interest and ideas for the 30th reunion. The results of the survey are as follows:

Washington, DC is the most desired city for the reunion

Majority would prefer the reunion to be held in September 2013

A 1-day reunion format is preferred

Majority would prefer to bring their husband/significant other

Based on these results the committee will begin to review sites and dates for the reunion.

Also discussed was the establishment of a scholarship as the gift to Seton that would be provided to an incoming freshman to assist with either tuition or book expenses. The scholarship amount will be based on the funds raised over the next year.

A Happy Hour will be scheduled over the next few weeks to provide us with opportunities to meet prior to the upcoming reunion.

The next Committee meeting will be hosted by Pam Browne on Saturday, July 21, 2013 at 3:00 pm.
