Barbara Burmaster (Westfall)

DANVERS — Barbara L. Westfall, 70, of Danvers, died at 8:10 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 8, 2015) at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice House in Peoria.

Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Otto-Argo-Calvert Memorial Home in Danvers. Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the memorial home. The Rev. Frank Zimmerman will officiate. Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Danvers.

Otto-Argo-Calvert Memorial Home in Danvers is handling arrangements.

Barb was born Feb. 18, 1944, in Peoria, to Floyd and Helen Deering Burmaster. They preceded her in death. She married Phillip Westfall on Jan. 14, 1961, in Bloomington. He survives.

Also surviving are four children, John (Joyce) Westfall, Danvers; Brenda (Jake) Henderson, Mackinaw; Tim (Diana) Westfall, Danvers; and Shara (Mike) Breedwell, Danvers; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Joy (Bernie) Lewis, Waldo, Ohio; Gene (Donna) Burmaster, Ethelsville, Ala.; and Carol (Margie Eckhoff) Wyszynski, Normal.

Barb worked many years as a hairdresser in Danvers. She was of the Lutheran faith. Barb was an avid bowler who traveled all around the country playing in tournaments. She was a member of Illinois Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame and an IWBA board member. She also loved playing bingo. Her family, especially her grandchildren, were the most important part of her life.
