BLOOMINGTON — Dr. Richard C. Trefzger, M.D., F.A.C.S., 64, of Bloomington died at 5:45 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 17, 2012) at home.

Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, Bloomington, with the Rev. Dr. James Warren and the Rev. Michael Fitch officiating.

Burial: Funks Grove Cemetery, rural McLean.

Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. today at the church. Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: First Christian Church, Bloomington, or the Community Cancer Center, Normal.  

Survivors: His wife, Nancy, Bloomington; children, Emily (Bill Burdett) Campos, Bloomington, and Michael Trefzger, Hollywood, Calif.; five grandchildren; father, John D. Trefzger, Bloomington; and two brothers, James (Dorothy) Trefzger, Champaign, and Robert (Connie) Trefzger, Bloomington.
