Goetze, John Ernest, LTC(R) age 73, passed away on February 21st. John was born in Minneapolis and graduated from Bloomington High School. He enlisted in the United States Army and his many deployments include Vietnam, Korea, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Somalia. He retired in 1996 and settled in Hudson, Wisconsin. John is lovingly remembered by his daughter Joneen (Mike) Northquest, and sons Jeremy Davis and Joshua (Amy) Goetze; grandchildren Michaela and Elizabeth Northquest and Ava and Austin Goetze; sister Janice (Delmer) Stamness and special friend Nancy Boatman. John will also be forever remembered by his devoted nieces Susan Stamness and Janell Riley and nephews David Goetze, Dan Stamness, and Perry Stamness. Many extended family and dear friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Janell Goetze; brother, Maynard Goetze and infant daughter. A Celebration of John's life will be held on Tuesday, February 27th at Grace Church Roseville (1310 County Road B2 W) Roseville.
