Sad to hear about Steve. We had some good times together. Our fathers both worked for Northwest Airlines so one year Steve and I got airline passes and went to Ft. Lauterdale for spring break.

Steve and I started first grade together and were in the same class with the same teachers through sixth grade.  In junior high and senior high we had a few classes together, we both went to the U of M for two years and shared rides when possible those years.  I had a 57 chev that I drove and Steve made comments about it,so when he bought his which was a lot nicer than mine, he made sure I knew he now had his.  It was fun to listen to him and see his pride when he talked about it.

Later years I did not see him often but it was nice to see him at reunion planning meetings.  Angela Hansen and I had the same birthday and Steves was the next day so a few times we would meet and have a birthday coffee.  Steve always had a very positive atitude and was fun to be around,  I will certainly miss him at our reunions and class partys
