Iverson, Bruce Joseph Of Lakeville, passed away March 11, 2019. A graduate of Bloomington High School, Class of 63. Bruce was a proud, decorated Vietnam Vet and dedicated helicopter and airline mechanic. He was self-taught in genealogy, computers and anything mechanical. He was happy to help friends fix anything. Bruce enjoyed trap shooting and camping with the Bus Nuts. He said he hated games, yet he was the first person to teach someone how to play and somehow ended up taking over their spot. Bruce was a loving husband, father, grandpa and brother. Preceded in death by parents, Ruth and Ingvald. Survived by wife, Becky and their children, Jason (Aimee), Michelle (Kaare Kvenild) and Minh Dang; sister, Judy (Dale Sheflet); 6 grandchildren; and other loving family and friends. Bruce's home was his favorite spot, where he enjoyed gathering his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held there in June. Private Interment Fort Snelling Nat'l Cemetery, in May when the memorial flags are flying. Memorials preferred to Mpls. VA Health Care System, Voluntary Services, 1 Veterans Dr., Mpls. MN 55417.

So sorry that the good guys go so soon. Bruce was a delight to everyone who knew him. He is kind generous, well mannered! I say is because I know we will see him again in heaven.
