Gail E Throngard (Lopac)

Gail Enid Lopac

Gail E. Lopac Age 76, of Eagan, passed away on October 23, 2021 after a long battle with Covid.  She is survived by her Husband Tom: Son James, (Kathy) and grandchildren Lenny, Lucy and Killian; Daughter Jennifer Ackmann (Patrick).  Gail Lopac (Throngard) grew up in a loving Christian household. She was highly active from a young age in her church and sports.  She was very competitive when it came to the things she loved including softball, downhill skiing and water skiing. After attending the University of Minnesota for Sociology, she began working at Unisys in 1970 where she met her husband Tom Lopac.  They courted for a few years before getting married in 1980 and starting a family of their own.  Gail was a devoted mother to her two children.  She was involved in Sunday School, was a Girl Scout leader, volunteered in her kids classrooms, worked in their school district, and volunteered at Church.  As her children got older she began getting more involved in different Ministries.  Her thirst for a deeper relationship with Christ was apparent. She was involved in Dare to Believe, Sozo Ministry, Arise Ministry, Capitol Prayer Network, Intercession Prayer and small group leadership.  Gail attended conferences near and far to learn more.  Together Tom and Gail built an extensive library of their own that they were (and still are) always eager to share with others.  Her faith and relationship with the Lord was great and she inspired a lot of people along her journey in life.  Gail will be missed greatly by so many people. The lives she touched and the work she did for the Lord will always be remembered.

Service for Gail Lopac will be held at White Funeral Home in Burnsville, MN on November 1st at 11:00 am. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and followed by lunch.

So sorry to hear about Gail.  I have not seen her in years but remember the good times we had in school. My condolences to her family.
