Sabrina McChesney Lucas

I have been teaching high school special education at Wallkill Valley Regional High School since 1987. Still love teaching and coaching. Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country Coach for 16 years. My boys recently won the North I Group II State Sectional title.

Recently was inducted into the Sussex County Sports Hall of Fame. The next day I ran my first marathon. Completed the ING NYC marathon on 11/2 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation (Livestrong). Did it in 4 hours 9 minutes and 13 seconds. I raised over $5000.00.

Loved my years at BU. Great memories of Sue Hicks and Hillary Runyon poking fun at me. Freshman year was incredible playing for Chris Daymont on the JV.

Developed more into a runner while at BU. Chris and Dick Daymont were amazing and are the true reasons that I coach cross country.

Being named Outstanding Senior of '85 was my greatest accomplishment at BU.

I played at Bloomsburg 1981-1985.
I ran for the XC team Fall of 1982, 1983, 1984 injured captain.
