I agree... many thanks to all of you that helped plan our 60th Birthday!! It was a great time, it is always nice visiting with everyone. Thanks Again! - Jill Culberson (Pursifull)
Al, Jeff, Patty and Diane: Just a note to say thanks for allowing us to play at the "birtday" bash. Although it was a rocky start, after a few songs we settled in and had a lotta fun, especially me, to be able to play for my classmates again! It seemed people really enjoyed themselves. Thanks for your dedication and once again, great job! Until next time, take care. - Rick Charlotte
Saturday July 23rd, 2011 - Our collective 60th birthday celebration got off to a wonderful start at Quench last night. The turn out was great, considering that it was 150 degrees and as humid as a night in the rain forests of the Amazon! All the faces I saw had a beautiful youthful layer of moistness that, combined with faltering vision, produced a really gauzy romantic portrait! Everyone looked fantastic! Patty Wilson brought along some photos from Robinwood Elementary School days and I was truly amazed at how little people really change. Granted, hair cuts have improved dramatically… especially for the girls… I loved seeing who probably tried cutting their own bangs the night before picture day. What were they thinking back then with those 1 inch bangs?!?! My favorite year is the one where people have missing teeth AND bad hair cuts! Come to think of it… we just might have a class reunion photo sometime in the future that looks like that again! Looking forward to the rest of the weekend festivities! - Diane Zoldan Burda

Sunday July 24th, 2011 - Rande Stefanski won $215 in the 50/50 raffle drawing today at the Kegs & Eggs Brunch. He is donating his winnings to Jeanne Magnetta's family. Our class keeps the other $215 - we paid $250 for music and it was worth it! Overall I think it went pretty well.
We are going to begin "5th Fridays!" In any month with 5 Fridays, anyone interested can gather at The Quench Bar after work on the 5th Friday of the month (not this month). They were very accommodating this weekend... no charge for the food either Friday or Sunday! - Patty Wilson
Jeanne passed away on July 4th, after nearly a two year battle with cancer. She called me in early June and was very upset. The first time throughout her ordeal that I heard her cry. She was disappointed because she had been planning on attending the 60th Birthday Party but didn't think she would be able to travel because she recently had additional brain surgery. She was going to have to stay in the hospital for antibiotic infusions. I told her that she should keep her cell phone with her because we would all be calling her from the party. I was stunned to hear of her passing. Jeanne and I went to Robinwood Lane together and after the 40th reunion, we got closer and started daily communications. When she discovered her cancer she called me. She was so brave and upbeat all through the chemo and the other setbacks. She was an amazing lady and it will be very difficult to not be able to see her as we had planned. When we last spoke, she wanted me to tell everyone how sorry she was that she couldn't attend. I hope we can take a moment at the party to reflect upon this very loving, gentle soul. I haven't been able to get a hold of her husband, but I am hoping I will get more information before the party. I know that her medical bills were becoming a problem, so perhaps we can do something to help the family. I will keep in touch. Hope to see you all at the end of the month. - Carol Tepsick Bracaglia
