Cindy passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls after a two-year battle with cancer.

Cynthia Ann was born July 28, 1958, to Jim and Vera (Dumler) Gregson in Borger, Texas. When she was in junior high, her family moved to Bartlesville, Okla., where she graduated from Sooner High School in 1976. Cindy attended college at Oklahoma State University and then Oklahoma Wesleyan University. It was at OWU that she met Scott Krueger.

Cindy and Scott were united in marriage on Aug. 24, 1979, in Bartlesville. They were blessed with four children. The family lived on a farm south of Groton until 1996, when they moved to their present home in Groton. They attended the Westside Wesleyan Church in Bristol, where Cindy taught Sunday school and Bible school before they transferred to the Groton CM&A Church.

Cindy's greatest joy was being a full-time mother. She enjoyed working with flowers, loved animals and had a great talent for decorating. Cindy had a warm and generous personality and a quick sense of humor. She had an ability to make friends with anyone.

Celebrating her life through memories is her husband, Scott; two daughters: Mandilyn and her husband, Jonathan Fliehs, and their soon-to-be-born child of Aberdeen, and Whitney and her fiance, Ryan Brunner, of Brookings; two sons: Gavin of Brookings and Dylan of Groton. Cindy is also survived by her brothers: Bradley (Diane) Gregson of Lubbock, Texas, Barry (Kelly) Gregson of Overland Park, Kan., and Kurt (Brenda) Gregson of Lee's Summit, Mo.; her parents-in-law, Lyle and Lois Krueger of Conde; her sister-in-laws: Dawn (Tim) Purcell of Charles City, Iowa, Marla (John) Beineke of Jonesboro, Ark., and Sara (Mark) Moore of Ottawa, Kan.; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents and grandparents.
