Comments:

Right after high school I married Caral Ruiz (never marry that young!!). She and I were married five years and divorced in 1995. Since then I've remained single. My daughter Angelina, who lives with me today comes from the marriage. I have no other children. I lived overseas in both Germany & England for about four years. I Served in the U.S. Army in Berlin, worked in a bio-tech company in Seattle, and was a public relations officer for the Carl T. Hayden, VA Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. I graduated from Grand Canyon University, a private christian college located in Phoenix, with a BA in communications & a minor in public relations. I later finished my masters in marketing, advertising, and communications at the University of Nebraska. I've ran a few marathons, love to exercise, traveled a bunch, and enjoy my time being a single dad. Of course there's more, hopefully I'll have the opportunity to share with others at our reunion!

School Story:

Howard Fletcher and I were speeding in a little 1974 Honda Civic, probably the smallest car made at the time. We closed in at speeds of more than 95 mph, drove over a dip in the road near Canyon Park Junior High and caught some serious air. We were "cranking" Megadeath at the time with the idea that the music would some how give us a lot more courage than we had. At the time we felt invincible, even though at that speed the car was shaking so bad contolling it was almost impossible. Then it happened; I lost complete control, wiped out and flipped the car several times. We snapped both front seats in half and managed to walk away?? To this day I don't know how we came away with only a few scrapes & bruises. Although the accident isn't something to laugh at, what is, is my bullshit story to the police. Bothell's finest asked me how fast I was going and as the officer was looking at skid/break marks on the road that traveled for more than 75 yards I told him I was going, Oh, about 25 mph??? I have a 16 year old daughter now and she's already tried to get out of trouble a couple of times using excuses just as lame and preposterous. When I choose not to believe these stories it's because, "I just don't undersand or trust her." One day she'll have a teenager to contend with and I'm just gonna sit back and smile..
