Sorry to hear or Judy's passing. I can relate one fond memory of Judy that occured in the ninth grade. I had a slight crush on Judy and was in the hall wall as she was climbing the stairs to the second floor. I whistled at her at her she turned around and laughed at my pathic whistle and using her fingers blew a loud whistle and said now thats how you whistle. After that I knew how to whistle and still do it that way. Gosh we're getting older and this is a remineder to reconnect with friends that you have lost track of while you still have time.

Rest in piece Judy sorry I did not stay in touch

Rest in Peace Judy.  Judy and I became friends during our Junior Year at BHS.  She was an interesting, very kind person.  We got along well, and I am very happy that she had a good life on this earth.  Her passing saddens me, but I believe she is in a better place now.  David Findlay

I'm so sorry to hear of Judy'd passing.  I did not know her well beyond being in the same class, but I always thought of her as a beautiful person and soul.

Judly was such a lovely person, it is sad to lose another classmate.  She was at home which is what each of us wants I am sure.  Go in peace Judy, we will be thinking of you this coming year.

I'm very sorry to hear about Judie.  When she signed my annual each year, she signed it Judie Blakley.  She was very sweet.  In our Junior year, we had Perry together.  We had a great time. I'm with Pat, I wish I had kept in touch with my classmates.  God will take good care of her now.

I met Judy in Elementary school, but not sure if it was Ricketts, the white school on the hill in Bothell or Kenmore Elementary.  We attended Ashwood Elementary when it opened in our 6th grade year. (Her father, Mr. Blakely, was our principle).  We lived on the same street (155th in the Morelands) and spent many happy hours walking back and forth from our homes to Arnson’s corner grocery store before going to the park.

We might meet up with Pam Laycock or Chuck Slusser with Rocky Wells and Cheri Fairclough, who lived on Simonds Road.  Or we might go down the hill past Karen Dahls, round the corner to Terry Jensen, Garbriel Songe, Dave Fluharty and hit the corner past my Grandmother’s house to head to Fred Damon’s.  We might stop at the Blueberry farm to watch all the people who had blue hands.

I can think of a hundred memories; sweet memories, with many, many more class mates.  Different grades, addresses and interests shifted our friends, mostly because we didn’t go out of our neighborhoods.  Like downtown Bothell, close to Kathy Bruzas and Joe Karp or Uplake Terrace, next to Marilyn, Suzie and Cheryl.  All of our classmates so close to our hearts and yet, so many years ago.

I wish my 11 grandchildren could have the childhood I had.  Leaving after lunch and not returning until dinner time. By mistake, selling Girlscout cookies for .25 instead of .35 (mom wasn't happy but I did sell the most cookies in my unit).   Riding bikes or building make-believe homes under the trees.  Walking everywhere seemed to take up oodles of time but we didn’t care.  We talked and laughed and ran and raced.  We found tree swings that didn’t belong to us and cut through yards and gardens not ours!  We snuck on to the course at Ingelwood to watch what might be a Pro golfer, or sipped milkshakes at Eula’s Beef Bar.  Kenmore Marina and the Slough Races…we had it all and then some.

Goodbye sweet classmate, you were one of those gals that everyone liked and we knew would never say a bad word about anyone,  May you rest in peace along with all the others we loved along the way. Love and prayers for your family.

So sorry to hear of Judy's passing.  We both went to Kenmore Elementary school together.  She was always such a pretty girl and very thoughtful and kind. I wish we had met again after high school.  It sounds like we had a lot in common other than she was outgoing and I was shy back then. RIP Judy
