Adele and I were good friends in our Junior and Senior years at BHS.  We were both in the band and I recall the fun we had sitting together on bus trips to various band festivals.  Once we decided that the bus trip would be a good time to do our finger nails.  Not only did we spill nail polish all over the seat of the bus and my clarinet case, but everyone around us were gagging at the "aroma" of the polish.

Adele loved to ski.  She took advantage of the ski program at BHS. I remember her telling me about a run she had taken the weekend before.  I didn't ski at the time -- but have since -- and now I know that feeling of commanding a hill that seemed impossible at one time.  She was just bubbling -- kept talking about it.

I was at her house a lot for awhile -- I remember that place as if I was just there -- so cosy nestled in the woods.  It was my home away from home for a little while -- like so many in high school do.

I know that Adele and my sister were on the phone a lot in what turned out to be their last months.  I am sure they are now chatting away up in heaven.

I remember Adele from High School years.  I had forgotten that she was in band, but I think she played the flute, if I remember correctly.  She was a soft-spoken, genuine person and pretty as well.  What a shame that her life was cut short so early!  I hope that her family has wonderful memories of her life with them!

I first met Adele in 2nd grade. She was so sweet and kind. I got to know her really well in gymnastics in 8th and 9th grade. We had a lot of fun together going to competitions and at practice. I send my best wishes and blessings to her family.

I will always remember Adele as a sweet, admirable young lady.  Her Mother and mine were good friends, and I remember being accused of having a crush on her in the 6th grade, which was probably true.  She was so adorable!  It's so hard to believe she has left us so early in life.  We all love you and miss you Adele.
