So very sorry to hear the passing of another classmate.  Thoughts and prayers go out to Richard's family.

It’s always sad to hear that another classmate has left before their time, or at least what we think the time should be.  It would be nice if we could all live into our 90s and enjoy our families while doing so.  We all have to leave this world sooner or later, but to most of us later is preferable, because we will miss our families and they will miss us.

As an Evangelical Christian I look forward to moving on whenever God feels it’s my time, and I hope my family feels the same.  I didn’t know Richard very well during our time at school, but would like to have known him better.  Whenever I see his yearbook picture it reminds a little of Tony Dow, the actor who played Wally Cleaver from one of my favorite TV programs.

I often think that I wish I had known more of you as well.  So to Richard and his family I say, God Bless your soul my friend, I pray that you have found piece and happiness.

Richard had been my best friend  since 3rd grade.  We had stayed in contact through out the years.  We were both into aviation for most of our lives.  We buzzed my house in his plane the last time we flew.   We were also th the USAF at the same time, stationed on McChord.  I could not have asked for a better friend.  I will miss you dearly.

It is sad to hear that we lost another of our classmates.  Sounds like he was doing something he loved.  Prayers to his family.

Yet another leaves our family.  I didn't know Richard well, but he was always a nice guy to evyerone I knew. To leave this world doing what you love couldn't be a better way to go.  My prayers and thoughts are with Richard's family.  Enjoy your flight Richard, this one has to be the best.

I remember what an incredible skier Dick was.  I can't believe - his most recent picture simply looks like the guy I knew in high school, except for the white hair.  Incredible!  Condolences to the family!

Personally, I will always remember , and miss looking up at your always smiling face. It was never so obvious than at the first recent gathering of our class,  how much our special member and friend wasn't there among us. Condolences to Kim and your family. You will never be forgotten, dear friend. Toni

I remember when we rode scooters together. I think Rich had a cushman at that time. He was really a nice classmate to be with. My heart goes out to his family.
