So sorry to hear of Mark Passing sway he was such a nice and Kind guy in school.
I don't think I have ever posted (or RARELY) here but I must for Mark. I never really knew him in school except he was big, very nice (seemingly) and a good football player. It wasn't until later when I was with the Seahawks that I had some occasions to speak with him because of security/police business. He was always kind, helpful man and I was drawn to him. He always talked with me like we had always been friends. When I discovered he was a person of faith, like me, I knew EXACTLY why I was drawn to him and felt so peaceful in his presence. We were brother and sister in the Lord.That is a deep and powerful bond that draws people of like-mind together. There is nothing more special than KNOWING a person is with our Father when they pass. "Precious, in the eyes of the Lord, are the death of His Saints." I will get to know you deeper when I see you in heaven, Mark! Now here lies a BIG man. A MIGHTY BIG man - BIG MARK! Praying for God's peace, comfort snd hope for his family. Please let us know if there will be a memorial, Vicky.
Sad to hear about the death of my brother in blue. Mark and I would see each other when working security at the old Kingdome. He was a faithful servant.

I have been very fortunate from the wounds I received in Vietnam, so thought it was time to pay back our Local VFW club which I'm on the Honor Guard, so I have taken a step higher and now I'm Quartermaster for post 696 here in Owensboro so in this position I can help Vererans in need.

It is a small world. I am in Kansas City, MO, for a fire chief's conference. I was sitting at a table in a restaurant with an Idaho chief. A man came to the table, a friend of the chief I was with. After introductions, we went through the "where are you from" routine. I said, "Washington"; he said, "Where?". I said, "Seattle area"; he said, "Where?" I said the Northsore area; he said, "Where?" I mentioned Bothell, Woodinville, and he said, "Where?" I said Bothell. and he said he went to Bothell High and his grandfather or great grandfather was the founder of Bothell! It was the brother of 2026 Wall of Honor selectee Dick Niemeyer! Small world, isn't it?
