I still think of some of the tricks we pulled on Mr. Molter (?) in World History Class. Karen and I had some great laughs together! She was such a special and very smart, artistic and most creative friend. She was at my 16th birthday party and though I don't recall we got into too much mischief that night, we did elsewhere and on other occasions!
I always had high regard for Karen, even though I did not know her well, and am saddened that she passed on at such a young age. She had such talent as a ballet dacer. I was offered ballet lessons by my parents, but at the time couldn't imagine doing ballet. I would rather be horseback riding. Then as an adult for the first time I began doing ballet just for exercise and to learn something new, and I loved it. Now periodically I attend the ballet in PDX and have joined Jenny a time or two in Seattle for the ballet.
