Survived By: Larry is survived by his life partner Bonnie Braga of St. Thomas and his brother Dennis and his sister Raylene both of Seattle.

Larry passed away from complications of oral cancer at his home in St. Thomas US Virgin Islands on November 15th 2019. He was 73. After graduating from Bothell High school Larry enlisted in the US Army and was honorably discharged in Germany. He then traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and eventually lived in Australia for several years. Following that, he made his home in St. Thomas US Virgin Islands for the last 40 years. For many years Larry owned and operated two record and cd stores (remember those?) in St. Thomas and St. Croix. These stores were called Parrott Fish Music. He also produced over 20 Caribbean music albums by various local artists. After 25 years in business in 2007, Larry retired to pursue his interest in yoga and Hinduism and Buddhism. In subsequent years he traveled to both Thailand and India for extended periods of time to further his studies. He later established a Buddhist meditation practice for the local community in St. Thomas. Larry was a man of steadfast values and lived his life following the Buddhist tenets of impermanence and serenity and that life is a continuous process of change. Larry is survived by his life partner Bonnie Braga of St. Thomas and his brother Dennis and his sister Raylene both of Seattle. There will be a celebration of Larry's life at Magen's Bay St. Thomas on Saturday January 18th 2020 at 1pm.
